Biography
Alex Mealand was born on the 12th April 1992, in Liverpool, England. Since then, her life has been on the stage. She landed herdelf with the role of Tinkerbell, at just aged 4, and since then, she has performed in another 34 shows across the Uk! She has also appeared on th Uk Talent Search, singing solo, in 2004, and on other small TV shows. She takes regular ballet, tap, jazz, modern and drama lessons at Performers Theatre School and Dance Art Studio, though she had to quit her singing lessns (which she loved), in order to put all her energy into acting, as an actress is what she wants to be, and her parents can't afford to send her to both. Despite this letdown, Alex sings on! She is part of the school and church choir, and auditions for singing shows, all the time! Her sister quotes "Alex never stops singing! Whether she's singing Avril Lavigne, 'Annie', or just hymns, she just doesn't stop!"
Alex has auditioned for Lyra Belacqua, in the up-coming movie 'Northern Lights', but didn't get the part. She is quite positive though, and says she went for the experience anway, and that she'll never give up. Let the performer live on....
